Tell us a bit about Emma?
I’m Emma a french girl living in London. I’ve been singing all my life, but I’m really into music in London since 3 years now since I moved here. There is much more here for me.
Where is your music today?
The first song I recorded was with the Manor, and I’m now working on my own stuff to come out later this year. It’s an EP I’m working on with Drifter and there are a few songs on there, half in french and half in english, and a full english track.
What inspires you?
A bit of everything inspires me. The fact I went travelling, my mood, how I feel everyday… I can be really happy and write music, and I can be really sad and write music.. you never know where inspirations is going to come from
How do you create?
When I write a song it’s all about the moments I’m having so it can be on the bus with earphones in, or I can be with my guitar at home. Creativity is one of those mysteries that you never explain when it will come. And I love to just jam as often as I can..
Amy Winehouse because she was amazing. A bit jazzy but not stereotypically jazz, and then I have this reggae vibe that I just can’t let go of because I love it.
Favourite song at the moment?
There’s too many artists to mention so that’s a tricky question. Selah Sue is a Belgian artist I’m loving at the moment though. I love her vibe..
Amy Winehouse no doubt.
If someone wrote a song about you, what would it be called?
Scatty Crazy French Girl
